Will I Get VO Work?

What is the likelihood of finding work and jobs in this industry, and how often will I get work?

Good question!

Most of my students end up working in the industry - OR they decide after the process that they got a ton out of it and it just isn’t for them.

Like any industry - it’s the effort you put into it.

There is a lot of marketing involved after the initial process of making a demo (phase 1) - (I call that phase two)- So be prepared to get out there (On a computer of course) and be ready to market - and YES I show you how to do that.

If you stick to it - you will make money - but like any new profession where you are starting your own business - potentially be prepared to not make a ton of money for the first three years - BUT you might. Some people make money right off the bat - I have a handful of students that started to make a full time living almost immediately. And others have a ramp up. But ones that stick with it - Will make money.

Rejection happens pretty much every day as a VO actor. Especially once you start auditioning. You might only book 1 out of every 100 jobs you audition for. Having excellent VO Skills and Experience is necessary in this highly competitive field. You can't control if the client is looking for a Male or a female, the competition, or other factors that might not land you the job. The way we get around that is by marketing and branding. But as long as you are putting out great auditions – that's key.
